The Ask: Macro Oceans, a leading B2B supplier of kelp-based beauty ingredients, tapped us to support the launch of their rebrand and new product, Big Kelp Hydration. They also wanted to spotlight impressive clinical trial results — an 80% increase in skin hydration compared to a placebo.

The Solution: We focused on building out their POV within the beauty industry. Macro Oceans is one of the leading suppliers of kelp-based beauty ingredients, meant to replace fossil fuel-derived ingredients in skincare and hair products. Leading with this planet-first philosophy, we crafted brand copy and founder ghostwriting that got their audience excited to follow along. We later helped announce their acquisition of Everything Seaweed, a fellow leader in the kelp-based ingredient space.
